Account Management Director
We are looking for an experienced commercial leader with a strong background in payments, fintech, or financial services to lead strategic account management and business growth initiatives across the Maltese market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage senior relationships with issuing and acquiring partners, acting as the primary commercial contact for key accounts
- Drive business development activity by identifying new opportunities, partnerships, and routes to market
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans focused on revenue growth, market penetration, and product adoption
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fintechs, industry bodies, and ecosystem partners within the local market
- Partner closely with internal teams across Products, Services, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to deliver market-relevant solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and portfolio performance to provide strategic commercial insights
- Support the positioning and visibility of the organisation within the local payments and financial services ecosystem
- Represent the business in client meetings, stakeholder discussions, and industry engagements
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–7+ years’ experience within payments, fintech, financial services, or technology
- Strong B2B account management and commercial leadership experience
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive business growth
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and market awareness
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
