Corporate Compliance Officer (LOD2)
Major Financial exchange in the Capital Markets sector is looking for an experienced Corporate Compliance Officer (LOD2) to join a Group Compliance function as a Second Line of Defence, with a strong focus on Financial Crime Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and review KYC/CDD and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) activities.Support AML/CFT, fraud and sanctions compliance and investigations.Perform Second Line controls testing and thematic compliance reviews.Identify control gaps, document findings and drive remediation actions.Provide practical financial crime compliance advice to business stakeholders.Monitor EU and local regulatory developments and assess their impact.Support AML regulatory implementation initiatives.Provide secondary support across ABC, gifts & entertainment and conflicts of interest.
Required Experience
5–8 years' experience in AML/CFT, KYC/CDD, fraud or sanctions compliance Support fraud risk assessments and case handling.Strong hands-on experience with KYC/CDD and EDD reviews.Controls, reviews and reportingProven experience in financial crime controls, testing and thematic reviews.Background within regulated financial services, banking or market infrastructure.Experience working within a Second Line of Defence environment.Strong knowledge of EU financial crime regulations.Monitor regulatory developments on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions, including EU-level texts and jurisdiction-specific requirements, and maintain the regulatory watch log for this topic setFluent English; French is an advantage.Comfortable working independently across multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders.
